Harvest Hope
Helping the Homeless Youth of Tecumseh

Harvest Hope

The Harvest Hope fundraiser dinner was held in 2023 to help raise not only funds, but also aimed at raising awareness about the increasing number of homeless students in Tecumseh. As stated in the McKinney-Vento Act, homelessness is defined as lacking a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence.

CLC in partnership with Tecumseh Public Schools desire to help alleviate these struggles and create a positive impact on the lives of these children.

We have been able to assist qualifying Tecumseh students and their families by providing assistance with the following: gas cards, obtaining permanent housing, groceries, and other additional needs that may arise.

Please contact Heather Franco; CLC's Family and Community Outreach Coordinator (Email: HFranco@tps.k12.mi.us) if you are struggling with housing and qualify as a McKinney-Vento Student.
