SUMMER PROGRAMMING

T-Town Safety 
T-Town Safety is a one-week, half-day educational program designed to teach young children essential safety skills in a fun and engaging way. Geared toward students in Young 5s through 2nd grade, this program introduces important topics such as gun safety, emergency services, fire safety, and personal safety awareness.
Through interactive lessons, hands-on activities, and engaging demonstrations, children learn how to recognize dangers, respond to emergencies, and make safe choices in everyday situations. The program partners with local police, fire departments, and emergency responders to provide real-world knowledge and experiences, such as meeting first responders, exploring emergency vehicles, and practicing safety drills.
Each day of the program focuses on a different safety topic, ensuring that young learners
develop the confidence and knowledge to navigate potential hazards safely. By the end of the week, participants will have a strong foundation in safety awareness, emergency
preparedness, and responsible decision-making.

MAYHEM
Middle School Mayhem is a revamped, math centered summer camp that offers 17.5 hours of instruction for in-coming 6th graders. This program is offered to TMS students who could benefit from additional resources to be sixth-grade math ready. Mayhem is all about learning while having fun. Our hands on learning approach to math encourages campers to realize math is all around them. 
We empower campers to take leadership and team roles while building communication skills through games and kayaking.  Students engage in real world math skills from graphing planes with string art to multiplying fractions, while also learning life skills like cooking and sewing. With support from the TMS counseling department, our campers also focus on mental health through breathing techniques, learning stress reducing activities, how to deal with middle school stress, and yoga.
Mayhem will have your camper ready to show off new life skills and increased math confidence.
